Holy Spirit Northside (HSN) Private Hospital, being a part of the St Vincent’s & Holy Spirit Health and Aged Care Service group, has an onsite spiritual and pastoral care team dedicated to providing emotional and pastoral support to all our clients. In addition to a chaplain, the spiritual and pastoral care team comprises several professional people, skilled in providing pastoral care to patients, their family and carers.

As non-medical-professionals, the pastoral care team commit themselves to helping patients and their relatives with the day-to-day human concerns. Our pastoral care team aims to provide a friendly listening ear, an opportunity for frank and open, non-judgmental discussion - someone from whom you can get support in times of anxiety, stress or concern.

Chaplains are also available for the administration of sacraments to Catholic patients.

Other members of the clergy and their pastoral groups from different faith traditions also visit our hospital and are available upon request.
